What is Sportsvite?

Sportsvite was started for everyone who loves sports, but finds it frustrating to actually organize games or find people who want to play them. To help, we've built the premier Web service for organizing active sports and connecting with other players for league teams, pick-up games, and sports/activity groups.

Sportsvite combines sports-specific targeted search and member profiles with user-friendly invitation and game management tools. Members can also keep track of stats and future games, send out email invitations, and maintain their schedule for their teams in leagues or casual pick-up games. Sportsvite is and always will be a free service for our members.

Sportsvite is currently in beta. If you have any questions about Sportsvite, or suggestions about how we can improve the site, please let us know by contacting us here or via email at feedback@sportsvite.com. You can also find answers to many common questions in our FAQ section.

Where can I get Sportsvite's media kit or check out company announcements?

If you're a member of the media or just want to see what we're up to, please visit our Press Box section, or read up at our blog, The Backpage.

The Sportsvite Team

Vinodh V. (Vin) Bhat

Co-founder / President

Vin is waiting for the New York Jets to call him for a QB tryout. Until then, he will be content playing pick-up sports in New York. ( Vin's Sportsvite Profile )

Vin is responsible for Sportsvite's grand plan - business development, media, marketing and communications strategy, recruiting and of course, execution. In addition, he surveys member needs and develops the pipeline for new product development. He holds a B.S. in Commerce (Finance, Marketing) from McIntire School at the University of Virginia.

Steve Parker

Co-founder / CTO

Steve likes any sport that'll let him get away from computers for a while. Faced with the risk of being permanently cast into the digital world, Steve quickly realized that building a site like this could very well be his best (and last) chance for staying fit and active. ( Steve's Sportsvite Profile )

Steve oversees Sportsvite's products and engineering - managing product roadmap, translating member needs into concrete blueprints, building the product, and making sure that everything runs smoothly. Steve holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Virginia.

Neal Shenoy

Co-founder / VP, Corporate Development

Neal is often mistaken for Derek Jeter by those people who aren't wearing glasses. Most weekends this Spring, you'll see him barking orders to his softball team in the Bronx. ( Neal's Sportsvite Profile )

Neal is responsible for new business development with leagues, locations and large sport organizations. He holds a B.S. in International Economics from the Walsh School at Georgetown University.

Bob Daly

Director of Engineering

Bob is a true believer in trying to stay fit and active. He does not appreciate being passed on the running trail, unless the passer is on two wheels. ( Bob's Sportsvite Profile )

Bob is an experienced software engineer and works closely with the CTO on feature development and engineering management. Bob holds a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Virginia, and a Master's in Information Systems from the University of California, Berkeley.

Clint Balcom

Creative Director

A wildly successful and handsome semi-pro athlete, Clint specializes in shark scams at various pool halls and golf courses - although he prefers to be referred to as an entrepreneur. ( Clint's Sportsvite Profile )

Clint oversees all things creative at Sportsvite. He is an honors graduate from Boston University College of Communications and the founder of the award-winning design firm Balcom & Nobody.

Brian Litvack

Director of Business Development

Brian is your typical lefty dead-pull hitter who likes the ball low and inside and tries to take advantage of the short right field fences at many NYC softball fields just because he is too lazy to run the bases. ( Brian's Sportsvite Profile )

Brian overseas the Sportsvite community through strategic business development, forming recreational league and sport organization partnerships, and managing Sportsvite's college intern program. Brian holds a B.B.A. (C.I.S. and Marketing) from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business.

Keith Emmer

Communications Director

Keith firmly believes that if he had only devoted himself to one sport instead of 37, he could have been a professional athlete. He's now cut it down (mainly) to three, so there's still hope. ( Keith's Sportsvite Profile )

Keith leads the public relations and marketing effort for Sportsvite. He also works with a diverse array of businesses, non-profit organizations, lawyers, politicians and other prominent individuals through his company Pronumbra, LLC.

Nirav Patel

Key Engineer

Nirav is a hardcore college basketball fan, celebrating March Madness more than any holiday, including his birthday. In the off season he enjoys running and tries to play as much pick up basketball as he can. ( Nirav's Sportsvite Profile )

Nirav is responsible for information architecture, site usability, and customized content management tools. He holds a Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Computer Science from the Stevens Institute of Technology.
