Ground Rules : Community and Sportsmanship
Here are a few key guidelines that we have created to make Sportsvite a friendly and productive community and to make sure everybody competes on an even playing field.

Fair Play
Sportsvite is for people who love to play sports. Please use the site how it is intended to be usedin the way it was intended. Sportsvite was created to help you facilitate connections between people connect with other people who play sports and to help you manage your sports activities whether that be in an organize league or just for pick-up. Please use the site in the way it was intended. Make connections with other people who play sports and manage and organize your sports activities. Please be respectful, honest and friendly to others. Everybody on Sportsvite is linked together by their passion for and enjoyment of sports. We strive for team chemistry like similar to what the Yankees had in the late 90's.

No Flagrant Fouls
Please realize that much of what you write, post, publish or share on Sportsvite can be viewed by the greater Sportsvite community. If you think it can be construed offensively it probably can, so please use your best judgment. Don't post images that are not safe for work ("NFSFW"). Would you want your boss to walk by as you were viewing a naked rugby skirmish? Stay away from cursing, obscenities, porn, hate speech, Nigerian money scams and spam messages and you should be straight. Name calling or disparaging remarks are only acceptable if your opponent really deserves it. We do understand that things can get intense in the heat of battle. Hopefully we won't have to start policing the community like it's the Cincinnati Bengals locker room.

BOO to Spammers
Sending unsolicited advertisements or repeat bulk-style communications anywhere on Sportsvite is not acceptable. Don't ask for Paypal passwords, credit card information or promote special offers for bulk orders of Viagra or HGH. If you engage in these despicable practices, we will eject you like Rasheed Wallace after he receives his second technical foul. Keep it up and you'll know what Pete Rose is going through.

Athletes Only
Sportsvite is for people that love to play sports. For people who love to get dirty and sweat. For people who love to compete. For people who enjoy exercise, fitness and challenging themselves. If this isn't you, then head on over to MySpace or MeetUp.

Everybody is a Super Star
Sportsvite lets you brag to the world. Please realize that much of what you post is public and can be viewed by anybody. If you are uncomfortable sharing personal information it probably makes more sense to send it in a direct message to another member or privately to your team. If you have questions about privacy please knock on our door.

Team Loyalty
Here at Sportsvite, we won't give your email address to Third Parties. We respect your privacy and don't think outsiders should have access to your personal information. So take comfort in knowing that your information stays safe with us and isn't made public like the issues in the New York Giants' locker room. If you have any questions about privacy, please either see our privacy policy (should have a link to our privacy page) or feel free to contact us at feedback@sportsvite.com.

Partners are our Teammates
Sportsvite's features are for personal use and are there to help people connect. If you are interested in promoting your league, events or selling products please contact Sportsvite and we can discuss ways to work together to help you achieve your goals. Please do not think up elaborate schemes to message users in the community. You don't want to be one of those guys that cork their bat. Give us a call. We are a pretty friendly and creative brunch and would love to hear from you.

Obey The Refs
If we find that you are inadvertently breaking these ground rules we will ask you to stop and explain the infraction. If the poor sportsmanship continues we will eject you from Sportsvite and take measures to keep you on the sidelines. If you have any concerns or problems with any other users, please let us know and we will take appropriate action. Don't try and take matters into your own hands or you will both end up in the penalty box. It's never acceptable to break or abuse any of the community rules, no matter what another user may have done.

No Performance Enhancers
We have always wanted to ban roids so no HGH, anabolic steroids, andro, EPO, or greenies.

Practice Makes Perfect
If you have ideas or suggestions for the community guidelines please share them with us. The community is constantly evolving and therefore we will make sure the ground rules reflect this growth.

Last rule: get off your computer, go out and have some fun!
